    Phillip people don't work because it is easier to take government assistance. Do the math. See if you can afford childcare now on $8/hour. A fair wage removes the government from subsidized benefits like food stamps and welfare. This is a conservative approach.

    When minimum wage goes up the employers who pay that wage raise the cost of goods and services, including the cost of child care services.
