TO THE JOURNALISTS WHO HAVE ASKED ME FOR A PUBLIC STATEMENT ABOUT LAST NIGHT’S SIMPSONS EPISODE, I JUST WANT SAY: “Congratulations to the Simpsons for being talked about & being seen as relevant again.”

If Hari and his doc didn't have relevance the Simpson writer's wouldn't have responded, so you are wrong there. It sad the writers chose to respond the most lazy way possible, while hiding behind the one character who was historically written to challenge status quo BS.

He and the doc have (specious) relevance now- but let’s see where they are in 30 years.

I'd rather hope in 30 years we live in a world where we don't have to produce docs that question lazy ethnic stereotypes in our mass media entertainment predominately written, produced and acted by white men.

I dream we can live in a world where people can discern comedy from hate and don’t get butt hurt over silly shit. And just because you used “lazy” let me know what you think are “smart” or “creative” stereotypes.

I will right after you cite where Hari says he 'hates the show' and is 'butt hurt'. Also when is discussing stereotypes in our mass media silly? third there are no 'creative' or 'smart' stereotypes because by definition they one dimension reductive takes on a race or ethnicity

Don’t shit on me, player- you’re the one who used the modifier of “lazy”- by your own words it leads one to believe there are not so lazy stereotypes (or maybe you just misspoke). And the “butt hurt” comment was more angled at you.

'you’re the one who used the modifier of “lazy”- by your own words it leads one to believe there are not so lazy stereotypes' No, no more that saying 'ice cold food' leads someone to believe there is 'hot cold food'. You are shit at this.

So rather than trying to understand his viewpoint you’re just going to dismiss him out of hand? That’s pretty close minded.

Are you suggesting that his viewpoint is so very deep and unfathomable that much time and energy is required just to begin to understand it? Maybe I should devote myself to studying it? .....Just kidding.....it's just more PC SJW nonsense....seriously, it's a cartoon

Again, rather than watching the doc & considering his view, you’d rather spout some nonsense. If it’s just a cartoon why do you care?

I already know my opinion doesn't mean anything. He seems to think his little 15 minutes somehow single-handedly revived the Simpsons. So he is glorifying his silly existence. But I'm glad you love me either way.

So we hypersensitive about a cartoon character? A Simpson cartoon character thats been around for decades? If you want something to change how about we start with Marge hairstyle first. Really what women wears the same hairstyle for 30 years
