You would think there would be at least one large, independently conducted RCT on the effects of prep/coaching on standardized admissions tests. But as far as I can tell that isn’t true

Standardized admissions tests are such a big and consequential part of American life. Coaching/prep effects are hugely controversial and a firm answer would totally change that conversation. How do we not have better data?
