Well it's almost 3 years since this article was published. And I have yet to feel any hockey stick "exponential" progress as forecasted! :-O
We don't even see most of the problems that need to be solved for making general AI. Long ways to go yet!

When I c that curve I feel like there's a bad assumption that neural nets lead 2 the singularity. AI adoption can still look like mobile tho
