I wonder if the spikes can be studied on their own to try to understand something about the overall system. Yes... That is exactly what I thought... Which lead me to create a dummy processor from scratch... I believe that both are very similar, only difference is that we know about the building blocks of a processor and how they are put together.... But we can't say the same for brain.

If observations are ”complete”, that could be good generic approach. But does it really cover all necessary signals? Can the noise be filtered out?
