I feel proud and honored to hear people sharing their #YouKnowMe abortion stories, but let’s be clear, you don’t need to have a “reason” to have an abortion. You shouldn’t have to prove to anyone why you want control over your own body and your own life.

Totally! I think we should be having these conversations. I just wanted to emphasize I don’t believe there is a “right” or “wrong” reason to have an abortion.

Agreed, but I think for a lot of people, this conversation is eye-opening bc it exposes them to the myriad reasons why people get abortions, so they learn that they need to just trust women have this covered and don’t need laws banning abortions.
