Especially since if the VFX studio had more freedom with the character design I bet they would have done a great job but they had to cater to the vision of some F-uped individual that now makes them take the fall for its stupid vision.

Agreed. James Corden has got too big for his boots. Those comments from that pair were WAY out of line. CATS is absolutely not my thing, but the folks who did that pulled out a lot of stops. A lot of angry people today with that.
