Do you have to agree about the computer to count as an illusionist? I guess maybe I would bet 10% or so on functionalism about consciousness but more on biological theories of consciousness...can't there also be biological versions of illusionism?

i think it depends a fair bit on what a non-functionalist biological theory looks like. are plants biological enough?

To believe that there is something it is like to be a Turing Machine implies either 1) there is something it is like to be a Turing machine expressed as a printout gathering dust on a shelf or 2) a TM alone is not enough for the “there is something it is like…” experience
