Steve has a long history with games. He ran IGE with Brock Pierce in the 2000s. We all still have so much to learn from IGE.

An academic conference that games resesarchers in comp sci have historically participated in. My lab at CNAM certainly did.

There was a second keynote who withdrew from the conference. The more amount of papers this year seems to be a result from earlier controversy and there has been calls to withraw papers.
