@vkhosla’s tweet was a mistake, it looks like the type of error most of us have made at some point -- probably reacted to the headline without reading article. This exemplifies how social media divides and triggers us, no matter how smart or good we are.

Ethics is not a computer science problem, but a societal problem. And certain environments (like business) tend to breed poorer ethics. Certain segments of business like finance and marketing, in my view, tend to be much worse than others like technology.

I could be wrong but higher % of tech entrepreneurs want to do “the right thing” while still making money than say on Wall Street or private equity or other businesses.
