Didn't read article, but I find this tweet extremely problematic. 1) Algorithms are human institutions. 2) Algos solve a specific domain of problems 3) Governance doesn't solve problems. I could go on, but there are people far smarter that can and should chime in

I think this is reflective of the pop explanations of algorithms common in CS education. Algorithms are not ANY complex procedure, they are domain specific, generalized, and scalable. Governance is so varied that it's not even close to algorithmic.
