Help me out: What are the 2-3 big questions you'd like to ask tech giants like Apple, Google, Microsoft & Salesforce about why/how they are supporting #CSforall? @ruthef @shuchig @hadip @tompkinsstange @guzdial @BrendaDardenW @jeanettewing @dreamhustlecode @katyaskit @douglevin

No i didn’t say or suggest that, I simply provided data that counters your narrative. Besides the Fed govt hasn’t mandated teaching CS, and nobody has suggested they do. Meanwhile 3/4 of *all* public comments to Ed asked for more priority to CS. 27 governors agree, mostly Rs.

15 of those governors have also formed a partnership to expand (and fund) CS locally in their states, perhaps they believe the federal effort may not be enough. http://governorsforcs.org

CS in K-12 has broad support of parents teachers students CEOs Governors Presidents. Both parties, across states & industries. Americans should celebrate this unifying movement. Are there also problems? Probably. But the big picture is a great story of US unity and leadership.

On a different note, Doug you should change your profile photo to a happy emoji. Of course there are always things to be angry about in the world, but I hope you also find the time to celebrate and be optimistic about the oh so many good things.
