We don’t need software engineers to teach 10th grade computer science. Just like we don’t need surgeons to teach 10th grade biology. We just need teachers who are willing to give it a try, and tens of thousands have started already.

My organization
@codeorg prepares existing teachers to teach CS, preparing 20,000 teachers a year. Because of these teachers CS has become the fastest spreading course in education. See http://code.org/about/2016 for some data.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
