Schools can’t afford to pay the high wage/high demand workers with current contract structure.
We don’t need software engineers to teach 10th grade computer science. Just like we don’t need surgeons to teach 10th grade biology. We just need teachers who are willing to give it a try, and tens of thousands have started already.
