Did he refer to schools, as he done before, as "government-run monopolies run by unions” or discuss propping up failing charter schools with tax dollars? You can't ask teachers to get on board with your mission while standing next to a man who has never stood with them.

The movement for CS in schools has support of the left, right, & center, and both sides of ed reform debates. I urge Americans, esp teachers, to see CS as a unifying call at a time of division. All Americans can stand together on CS.
