Do you think some of $ should be spent to articulate metrics and research PD effectiveness? Evidence-based PD sorely needed in this space.
My comment was specifically about recent White House funding from Dept of Ed. (The NSF already spends $20M/yr on the research you want)

Hopefully. :-) The NSF funding was directed over a year ago, last administration.
