Early on, I learned a critical rule about execution. My boss, Chris Jones, told me: “There’s 3 ways to handle work assigned to you. If you say you’ll do it, do it. If you say you can’t, that’s ok. But if you sign up for work and drop the ball, the team fails. Learn to say no.”

It was a wonderful experience to have you invite me to be an investor in Tellme and be in the board. We had great fun telling browser war stories with Mike and the Netscape crew. There was a lot of mutual respect and admiration. IE 3 was a career highlight.

You were lucky to be able to invest and partner up in any
@hadip related venture. Would be honored to have the chance, but I know he wouldn't need it :-) - Show replies

Where did your personal story continue, what did you do at Tellme Networks, what you’ve doing now? I’m 20 years old and all that I ready above sounds like a complete crazy but very interested thing to be a part of.

I think my entire life has been different chapters of complete crazy. Seek the crazy, it’s a lot more interesting.

did you stay with Tellme long enough for the wheel to go round and bring you back to Microsoft?
