Every parent seems to want their kids to learn to code but phones, iPads, and contemporary computers feel suboptimal for that purpose. (Too many other tantalizing distractions -- like trying to study math in a fairground.) Is anyone building a modern-day BBC Micro?
If they are just getting started, try @codeorg on any computer. Doesn’t start with arcane syntax (or syntax errors), instead starts with blocks and students get much faster payoff learning loops, functions, variables before graduating to JS and apps.
