Democracy cannot survive in a world of misinformation. If you love democracy, invest in education.

We could start by allowing public school students to actually attend school like the 95% of private school students who have been going in person since September!

Education helps. It is necessary but not sufficient. At this stage it is cultural. It is becoming ok to go along with misinformation that aligns with your interests, even if deep down you know it is not true. Eventually it becomes your personal truth that you actually believe.

I'd like to see more support for teaching logical reasoning and fallacious reasoning as a part of media literacy. The Propaganda Game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug_hcw8KQ0c … is an outstanding tool but needs to be updated to a modern version for 7-12th grade learners
