But the employers still pay less money. I don’t know how that changes my argument. Corporations don’t care for local anything. Like with every social action, it is all performatory for corporations.
That is a win-win. Everybody makes more (except poorly-run cities). The geo-independence of knowledge work will create a race-to-the-top among cities to deliver better civic services at lower cost.
