I’m not even a Muslim, yet as an Iranian American I *still* feel the personal impact of the anti-Muslim sentiment from 9/11.
9/11 was a horrendous act of terror, and also a moment of incredible heroism by first responders. We will never forget.
To claim that America reacted “calmly” and without anti-Muslim sentiment is perhaps the most ridiculous and racist @nytimes opinion in recent history.
