Although looting has now started in Bellevue, what I saw and filmed (with my 3 young kids) earlier today was peaceful. Police rode in on bikes and cars, and teargas cannons went off so we left.

Curfew started at 5 pm. If you really want to know why they were called, I highly suggest you walk around the Westlake area of Seattle. Try cleaning up all the graffiti and broken glass. May have started peaceful, but I can guarantee you there were people taking advantage of it.
