The ultimate answer to this question has pretty major implications to commercial real-estate prices. Doesn’t seem to bode well.

People I have spoken to (30-40, tech/finance, London) have a new appreciation for being in the office. The community is important and so is the fact that lives are partly built around the office (e.g. gym, activities, social). WFH 1/week is likely to be the dominant outcome.

Complicated... one answer would be what I would LIKE to say... back to work- not from home! I miss visiting my colleagues and business contacts. However, with school buildings closed and camps for kids canceled... what will families do?

I’m not an office worker, I’m a teacher, I don’t see my profession getting back to “normal” for months
