I dont recall what I said in the moment, but I’m a fan of Minecraft used for creativity or for learning CS skills. In general I worry that without parental guidance during these times, a lot of parents will (out of necessity) end up exposing their kids to excessive non-educational / non-creative screen-time.
P.S. don’t idolize me, or anybody really. Nobody is perfect, plus I have an entire team that deserves more credit. But thank you for the kind words.
You referred to it as a video game, but that's not what you expressed in this great opinion piece! I noticed you wrote this 5 years ago, and Minecraft has changed a lot since Microsoft unveiled Minecraft Education Edition. It is incredibly robust!
