Fact is it's an impossible balancing act since Intel Agencies across the globe have been openly using video and media surveillance for quite some time. Adding AI into the mix really makes for scary combinations when you tie it altogether with phone, satellites, video, etc...
It’s a tough balancing act, using AI to detect and deter obvious crimes vs the downsides of a surveillance state.
