I have not seen such data. If i am wrong please correct it. 30% of students in US have http://code.org account and 35% of high schools teach computer science is quite different. It seems first datas are not reliable.pic.twitter.com/pADZH1ziBz
“35%“ comes from schools that teach at least 10-20hrs/year in primary school and a full semester plus in secondary school. See http://code.org/yourschool . This measures CS, whether taught using @codeorg or not.
US students with accounts on @codeorg isn’t the same as the school teaching CS. Because (1) many students use @codeorg outside school (2) some schools teach with @codeorg for a few hours a year, but not enough for us to count it as a school that teaches CS.
