Hadi, may I also suggest that sometimes the most pertinent task of a “leader” is to take a step back especially as a man in a privileged position so that the voices (and contributions) of others can be heard. In effect you have power here and agency.

Thank you for your response. The segment and production were extremely problematic, but they brought to light some deep issues and gave us a chance to discuss discrimination and privilege in a tangible way. I hope we can move this dialogue forward by hearing and believing women.
