We don’t need to wait for the future. Today’s education *already* looks much like it did in the 19th century. The part that has changed least: the curriculum.
Discussions about the future of education should reimagine not just HOW we teach but also WHAT we teach. Schools should teach more CS, statistics, civics, as well as “soft” skills like creativity and collaboration. Make time in class by reducing rote tasks and memorization.
