My point isn’t about coding, it’s about computer science, ie learning to create, harness, and protect technology and data, which will be increasingly critical in all aspects of life. Many don’t enjoy math, yet we offer it in every school. Schools should offer computer science too

I don't know if I buy this. At least not his cherry picked example. So, extending from tellers , we'll get more accountants but the # of people needing taxes remains the same so the new accountants will make less.

With something like fast food and so many American businesses the motive seems to be profit not creating more jobs so we'll only get jobs as a side effect. Could be better could be worse. Hope for the best, expect the worst.

Quantum computers can calculate math in a day or two that would take conventional binary computers hundreds of millions of years to do. Abundance for everyone alive today. Not my ideas.
