You won’t get grants if you don’t have evidence that your initiative does what it purports (data). Grants enable entities like @codeorg to offer free curriculum and PD.
Also, as i said at the outset, 280 chars isn’t an ideal format for discussing. I suspect we agree on more than appears. I suggest a coffee to discuss instead, I’ll reach out privately. I’m supposed to be skiing with family today so if I break from Twitter that’s why.

And to be clear, I agree strongly that data, esp exam scores, can be misused. Ironically, last time I pointed out improper conclusions drawn from exam scores by CsEs researchers, members of this same community criticized me for asking questions.
