Hey @hadip I see you liked this tweet. How do you square your support for CS education as a social justice issue with the fact that @codeorg claims equity gains based on student participation data? Aren't those claims a whitewash of the more complex issue (pun intended)?

This is a longer discussion than one can put in a 280-char response. And tbh, I’m not sure I agree believe the goal of csforall is to fight sexism/racism in *all* arenas, but rather to improve equity.

Meanwhile @codeorg has many measures for how we improve equity. Pre/post tests of student self-efficacy and attitudes towards CS show the greatest gains among women. Pre/post tests of teachers in PD show major change in how they view their role in establishing equity
