It's now more plausible that, without an immediate and massive campaign to increase vaccine supply and speed up distribution, we'll end up with more deaths from COVID after we had vaccines that could prevent them. A repeat of sorts of the AIDS catastrophe.

Nå er det ingenting her som viser at hen passerte noen på fortauet i hastighet over 6km/t, så antar ikke ser noe problematisk med dette.

Never thought I’d see the day when Palestinian victims were pictured, named, & their stories told. These children deserve to be known. Showing us the humanity of Palestinians is an important 1st step in forcing a recognition that & insuring their rights

Thread. 1/ There are a number of highly controversial issues that simultaneously converged on 2 the ultimate radioactive issues of the Israel Palestinian conflict: Jerusalem and displacement. These issues intersect, interact and resonate. It's worth taking a hard look how.

The Dáil has spoken with one voice. Ireland is now the 1st EU country to state Israel has de-facto annexed Palestinian lands and their actions break international law. There must be consequences for these actions. 🇵🇸

Incredible statement from Cummings there. Not that the PM was useless, but that he was so useless his presence would have actively undermined a government response.

RIP Josep Almudéver, who died today aged 101, the last surviving member of the International Brigades. Photo is from from 2013. Born in Marseille to a Valencian family, volunteered as a French citizen to fight in Spain, then Franco's terrible camps. French exile and return.
