My theory of incels (since I'm sure y'all wanted to know) is that their frustration is less about sex specifically and more about affection, social status, and emotional support. Probably expressing contempt toward them is counterproductive.

Really, we should be approaching them with interest. "What does it take for a person to adopt that world view?" With E. Rodger for example, he had almost no parental support during childhood, nor, seemingly, any role models that weren't fictional. "Forged by media," basically.

I'm not a huge fan of "Everything wrong with a child is the parents' fault," but in a lot of these incel cases, it's literally that. If you leave a kid with no other role model than what's addictive on early-00's TV, what do you think's going to happen?
