Sadly a number of residents lost their lives in the fire at the Loafers Lodge and our thoughts go out to their families and friends who will be grieving this immense loss.
A Mayoral Relief Fund has now been set up for those wishing to offer support.

The hostel was used as both long term (over 13 years) & medium term accomodation, for many of our most vulnerable members of our society. Those that didn't lose their lives, have lost everything else they had in the world 💔
