It doesn't matter how you cut it, the impact must be small. If there's 1 in 1000 100yos and they turn out to be overstating by 30 years even, that's still a small effect like 0.02 years. (And if we want to gauge medical progress, what do we make of the Calment anomaly...)
@gwern Wholeheartedly agree: these cases are so vanishingly rare (~600 cases in 40 years, US wide) they make virtually no impact on average lifespan, especially compared to standard errors of estimates.
