I have used them before (usually when I was ill) and considered doing so recently, but I realized that they're the most at risk in the current situation that I decided it was better for me to don a mask & gloves and go do my shopping myself today.

Solidarity with who? The people have chosen to be their own boss. set their own schedules and avoid paying unemployment taxes. If they have problem with the working condition or pay they should look in the mirror and take it up with their boss
