By a (62/37) margin, Americans say President Trump deserves a 'great deal' or a 'fair amount' of credit for the strong economy -- vs. little or no credit. Voters split almost evenly on credit for President Obama (51/48). https://news.gallup.com/poll/285593/say-better-off-past-elections.aspx …

Voters also see the US as more respected in the world -- and safer/stronger in 2020 than they did in 2012 -- when the incumbent Democratic president was re-elected:pic.twitter.com/nONCCzH1fd

Republicans blamed Clinton for the economic collapse in 2008 (when Bush was president) and refused to credit Obama for improving the economy during his presidency so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dude, he inherited a VERY strong economy - are we supposed to credit him for not fucking it up, especially after he passed trillion dollar tax cuts for the 1%?

What did Obama do to make it such a “strong economy”?

Both are wrong. The strong economy is the result of the shale oil revolution. This took place despite the government, not because of it.
