    Periodic reminder that `await import('//dev.jspm.io/[pkg]')` allows you to import anything from npm in the browser instantly. I often use this in the console to test things out.

    Zig lang's error and optional wrapping is a joy. Some quite complex code ran first time once the compiler errors were fixed. There are a few edges that take some trial and error due to sparse docs, but it all comes together elegantly. This really is the better C!

    Zig lang is actually really fun... it might well live up to those ambitious goals! Wasm output looks good so far. Just don't try the hello world on the Windows Linux subsystem like I did.

    Agree, we are under-investing in market design, trying to make 1990s business models work for 2020s code. Easy to schedule $10,000 in meetings about working around a missing feature in an open source dependency that a developer might be willing to fix for $100.

    Free software is still a market with download and interest signals and growth and success and failure. Everything about software is capitalist except for the lack of capital! Bring back capital and we bring back the dream of distributed builders doing their best work unmartyred.

    Strictly speaking, there should be a try { ... } finally around the `await doWork(job)`, but that exceeded the limits of Twitter as a code pattern sharing platform :P
