. explains why there's distrust in Lansing thanks to Democrats. They're trying to undo a tax cut for working families and small businesses to instead give it to big corporations that brought in record profits. It's wrong. And Republicans are fighting this.

Automatic tax cut coming this year thanks to Republicans but Democrats want to take this away to give it to big corporations. Taking away this tax cut means small biz + working families will pay more. Welcome to one party Dem rule. This is why people lose faith in government.

Less than one week after promising to lower costs and provide “immediate” relief for Michiganders, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is pondering a loophole to avoid giving all Michiganders a tax break as required by a 2015 law. thecentersquare.com/michigan/repor

It’s clear Whitmer and Democrats are pushing a tax hike on working families and small businesses. She’ll use that money to give to big corporations who have seen record profits. One party Dem rule in Lansing is a disaster for working families and small businesses.

If you're watching the circus Democrats are running in Lansing, here's what they are stopping: - Tax relief for small businesses - Tax relief for working families Time and time again, they voted DOWN tax cuts today. One party Democrat rule is HURTING Michigan.

Yep, the Democrats are setting records alright… for breaking campaign promises. Not even ONE FULL MONTH into the new term. And they’re already finding loopholes to raise taxes on working families and small businesses. Freaky fast.

One month into one party democrat rule in Michigan and they’re already working on hiking income taxes on small businesses and working families. Republicans will stand firm against this.

Democrats are actively trying to raise taxes on working families at the worst possible time. Even their own caucus member said that messing with this would be “political suicide”. But here we are. Don’t raise taxes on families!

No committee hearing. Barring commentary from members (Former clerks!). All to appease Washington DC party bosses. And disenfranchising MILLIONS of voters along the way. 👉🏽 The results of one party democrat rule. 👈🏽

Michigan House Dem lawmakers pass SB 13 on a party-line vote to move the state's presidential primary to the fourth Tuesday in Feb. starting in 2024. Under DNC rules Gov. Whitmer has to sign it by Wednesday. #mileg

Per RNC rules, Democrats just disenfranchised Republican and Independent voters by placing the Republican primary at a time that will cause them to lose more than 80% of their delegates.

There it is. Democrats are trying to play politics with an income tax hike. They’re misleading the public on this and it’s incredibly disingenuous. Republicans are fighting for these tax cuts to take effect. Every working family deserves this tax cut. #ReliefNowNotLater

After touting tax cuts for MI residents, today, the Democrats in the House & Senate are trying to cut a deal with Whitmer that would cancel the automatic income tax cut scheduled to happen next year and instead route funding into the Governor’s corporate welfare slush fund.

Whitmer, Dem legislative leaders seem hesitant to commit to letting the automatic income tax cut take effect. Say they need to close the books. One option might be to direct that money to SOAR fund. #mileg

So let me get this straight: 1) Dems are not interested in giving all working Michiganders a tax cut. Instead they want to hike taxes. 2) Whitmer + Dems want to give the money to big corporations flush with cash. Now we know their priorities. Got it.
