Why? It's not about killing virtual children, it's about them being killable, specially when in reality they are the most vulnerable. As one example, how more motivated are you to stop an in game robbery if the kids can die in it? How more careful will you be if FF affects them?

I don’t care if there’s an option to kill them or not but if you’re mad you can’t kill virtual children, there might be something a bit off with you

Kids are frail and clueless and we have all been there, that's why we protect them. All NPCs are clueless, that's a limitation we have, but if their frailty or potential isn't simulated they serve to break the immersion more than to enrich the world.

You don’t need to kill virtual children to have immersion, there is Jack who’s a child and you get the immersion of an actual child but you don’t fucking kill him lol.

No, technically you need them to be killable. Technically no one needs anything, that's just standards. But saying a game doesn't need something because most people don't do it and therefore shouldn't be there is like saying all games should all be linear.

I'm not trolling, you either are dumb, or you are being disingenuous and discovered you argued in favor of railroad hand holding games accidentally just to virtue signal.

Ah yes, I’m dumb for thinking killing virtual children isn’t required for immersion. Thank you Professor Gush

You are dumb for not understanding that it's a question of degree in an era where people are ever more demanding. Better yet, you are dumb for pretending not to understand it in order to virtue signal so you can demand censorship under your control.

My control?
I don’t control censorship, also I don’t demand censorship either. I’m not sure if you’re talking about the guy who got terminated or the child murder but yes, he didn’t deserve termination but the child murder wasn’t even in the game so how could it be censored?2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
Now, there's a reason why kids aren't killable, it's just to drive home how much more sacred their lives are and the overwhelming majority of gamers are ok with, because the stress of failing to save a child would quickly exhaust most people.
