I didn't realise that respecting one's self as a worker meant being a discriminatory ableist who thinks it's okay not to follow the laws, your contract or to be a decent human being.

Odd thing to say when you clearly have no respect for them as a worker. Your immediate reaction to their discussion of their experience as a worker is a condescending sneer. If you think this isn't elitism, you're deeply self-deluded.
