Planets are *3D*, when we observe the spectrum of an exoplanet we see a combination of spectra from the hot and the cold part of the atmosphere. How does that complexify measuring molecular abundances ? Today et al. look into details for JWST ()

Any undergrads want a paid summer internship at ? Our group is looking for 5 awesome people to help us find and study planets with TESS. I can nearly guarantee you'll discover a new exoplanet if you want to work on the search side! It's a thrill that never fades!

Using our new stellar parameters, we re-derived radii for 299 confirmed and 517 candidate planets and something magical happened: WE FOUND A DEFINITIVE PLANET RADIUS GAP FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A DATA SET OTHER THAN KEPLER!

They have confirmed loss of signal from the spacecraft at 22:30:02. The project manager first asks all the Spitzer family and friends to stand and receive a round of applause, then states: "I declare the spacecraft decommissioned."

We announced first light with NEID! A pleasure working with the amazing & talented multi-institutional NEID team to go from design to first light in less than 4 years. Lots still to do in commissioning the instrument and facility- but this this a major first step!

"Hello, world(s)!" I am extremely excited to share my *first* first author paper in which we present the discovery of 3 new planets, TOI-700 b, c, and d. TOI-700 d is TESS's first Earth sized planet in the habitable zone of its host star!

now tells us about first light for the NEID Doppler spectrograph. This instrument will allow extreme precision radial velocity measurements, enabling us to detect planets from their gravitational tugs on their host stars.

The new instrument (funded by and ) will help scientists measure the masses of planets outside our solar system - exoplanets - by observing "wobble," or, you know, how much gravitational pull they exert on their parent stars🤓
