I disagree. Some things are hard to grasp. A senior can explain you these things with different POVs, different explanations, the different intuitions he know but sometimes it's not enough, you have to work to find your own intuition(s) about these hard to understand things.

I see too often beginners rejecting some non trivial ideas because they are just lazy. It depresses me.

Actually, not only beginners. Mid/Seniors also can be lazy and reject ideas just because they refuse to invest the time needed to understand these things.
