If we breed at the rate of 216,000 / day and we require a minimum of four trees per person just for oxygen, our demise will come quicker than we realise. Unless we can plant 1,000,000+ trees per day to account for those we are chopping down or stop breeding, the future is grim.

There is not enough surface area on the planet to plant enough trees to avert climate disaster. We have to radically transition away from fossil fuels. Seeing as the general consensus is to say bugger that, yes, the future is grim.
