This is a position common to all religions. They don't understand that human societies evolve over time, nothing is set in stone. By sticking to orthodox, millennia-old position, they contribute to their own demise. Religion is dying a slow death & it has only itself to blame.
-
I don't think religion is dying. I think organized, Abrahamic religions are dying. Patriarchy must yield. Women cannot be forced into subordination forever.

I’ve never understood the LBGTQs community insistence on fighting for acceptance from religious entities. Church participation for the most part is voluntary. Find a church whose doctrine lines up with your beliefs?
-
Because... Its horrible to be discriminated against? Because we want to be included without being controlled with what we can & cannot do? Because some of us are religious and don't want to feel like pure shit when they tell us we're going to hell for something we can't change?

And the church wonders why it's losing followers

-
So violate its own beliefs and the content of its Scriptures just to gain followers? Who would want to be part of a compromising, unprincipled, weak organization like that? Oh yeah, immoral sots who have the self-control of rabid animals.
