The vagina is self-cleaning – so why does the 'feminine hygiene' industry exist?https://trib.al/5FYkOMk

Exploiting women by making them feel insecure and ashamed of their bodies = making lots of money from it. It’s funny, I’ve never seen any penis-cleaning gels or sprays on the market. 🤔

... maybe because woman are way far more insecure (for everything) than men? That's why: there is a big cosmetics industry, mainly for women, there is a big fashion industry, mainly for women. Men, are OK, as they are; don't care to change (substantially) with cosmetics &clothes.

Of course. It’s exploiting an already insecure market. But women are taught this insecurity over their lives, even from childhood.

I don't agree; insecure, is in the nature (of women). It's not a matter of "education"; even in the ancient civilizations, many many thousand years ago, women were trying to become more beautiful, by using cosmetics.

I think it’s ages of expected and imposed gender roles. There is no science to back up women are born with insecurity. It’s from treatment & experiences. Regardless of where insecurity comes from and for how long, it’s still immortal for a market to exploit it. Agree to disagree.

If you do not agree that • insecurity is in the nature of a woman, then you must necessarily think that • today's women are so foolish that corporations can make those women insecure without to be. Which opinion is more possible to be valid, and with more RESPECTFUL on women?

Everyone is insecure. But they're taught to be insecure abt different things (gender roles). Men are taught to be masculine--so they go to the gym. Makeup & skincare? Nah, too feminine for them. Men are ESPECIALLY insecure when it comes the things that threaten their masculinity.

The very same reason why "energy drinks" or "take-this-if-you-are-healthy-pills" exist. Making people believe that "they need to buy this" through some scientific mambo-jambo is how today's health industry survives. Watch this movie about the end.https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/ …
