    Which is to say: attach an external display to your laptop. Set the laptop screen to HiDPI. Test your software on both screens.

        @gte Yes, and if you have a Retina display, attach an external non-Retina one. There are some weird issues with multi-resolution setups.

        @mjtsai Multi-resolution is very difficult to support correctly and I think there’s some bugs there too. Images are problematic at best.

        @gte The Retina display is required if you're concerned with how the final product looks. Not everything translates well when scaled…

        @liscio Agreed. Finding bugs can be done without one but final output should always be tested on a real device.
