I voted for Donald Trump. I thought I was sending a message to the GOP that they needed to change. I made a mistake. Hillary is right despite the fact that she is a flawed messenger. It’s time to act. We cannot have a president that behaves this way.

I’d like to get a sense of what surprised you. It’s important because there are many in the same boat. Others would scream “you got exactly what you voted for”, but it would be fascinating to hear where you diverged from your original preference in 2016.
-
Divergence happened right away. Drain the swap turned into "create a cesspool". All the worst people around him. No respect for rule of law. Racist behavior. Climate change denial. I've been mad for two years, but timing is everything. Now is the time.
-
I appreciate your response. It’s certainly the case that many votes were also cast in (to an extent justifiable, yet either way unfortunately misdirected) anger. I hope more people, who thought they were voting to change the system for the better, follow your lead now.
-
I love this conversation. It's a great model. I wish more of us could discuss honestly, respectfully, & rationally, despite viewpoints that may differ or have shifted, mistakes we've made, w/o insults or blame. No one is perfect, & it's important to understand & keep talking.

In 2020, please vote for any presidential candidate who promises not to use information acquired by a foreign power who hacked the accounts of Americans to get that information.
-
bc using stolen info from break in by hostile adversary to attack US elections it's as though Roosevelt not only ignored the attack on Pearl Harbor but sided with the attacker
-
Or in ‘68 when Richard Nixon actually WAS in contact with the North Vietnamese & urged them not to sign a treaty with LBJ because a President Nixon would propose a better deal.
-
Because Nixon was better at this until he discovered technology...

Wow. You are sleeping on the couch tonight. Bless your heart. You are welcome at our house any time.

I strongly doubt that. He and his wife are playing a game with all of us, trying to be on both sides of the fence so they come out of this nightmare unscathed. If he REALLY believed any of what he writes, he would hold his wife accountable for her part. But he doesn't.

Kellyanne of Green Gables had no problem bashing Trump when she ran Cruz's campaign. There is no reason she is anything but a mercenary. George may be lying. We know Kellyanne is.
-
Agree on her. There is zero upside to her jumping ship on either of them. It’s fascinating though.

As she stated in the piece- no one has her perspective- she was house staff attorney during watergate, 1998 impeachment of her husband, US senator, sec state and the actual victim of the Russian plot...

All correct sir. Bravo!

Same here. After all, at least she submitted to congressional hearings and showed up for an interview with the FBI.

Yep. 11 hours. No whining.
