Psych NP here. A psych evaluation consists of a 1 hour evaluation. Honest to God, if I could have seen first hand as much behavior out of my patients as I’ve seen out of this one I could have dispensed with the 1 hour evaluation.

I recall a doctor telling treatment team once about a particularly difficult case, ‘If we could live with them, we could diagnose them.” We R living w/ him! All a psych eval is is an hour of the person answering questions. Just because someone is crazy doesn’t make them stupid!
