The f*cked up part is that these people are so weird that it's hard to explain it to others who haven't lived one up close. You feel like a fool trying to describe it - especially to people who haven't seen "the other side" of a narcissist who still has them snowed.

YES. So true. It mangles a lot of relationships/families and the only real way to deal with these people is to run away from them completely. To cut off their supply. Ignore them. Sometimes the people in “the middle” don’t understand this which makes it doubly hard.

That couldn't be more accurate. For instance, it explains the two Conways perfectly. People who can't understand how George & Kellyanne can have such divergent attitudes have never really known (or studied) a narcissist up close.

I read that book. It is frighteningly accurate. Psychologists and psychiatrists have a "duty to warn" when an individual is a danger to himself or others. Since Trump has the nuclear launch codes, many felt that it was their duty to speak out and warn us.

While I agree with you on the last part, this couple is very public. They have the eye of the media on them. That's the big difference. The other part is that Trump has never called him out Conway.
